Paul H Brisk
Paul Brisk, the author of “Creating your CV as a self marketing tool” and “Essential Job Searching Tools”, is celebrating great success thanks to Bookboon, as since these books were launched in January and June 2012 respectively there have been 423,000 downloads for his first book and 180,000 for his second publication, totalling a staggering 603,000!!
Paul says “Both books have had incredible success and the downloads have exceeded all my wildest expectations. He goes on to say “It is very difficult to get your head around the numbers but I relate this to the Wembley Arena here in London and try to imagine that with a near 100,000 capacity that all those people in the stadium 6 times over have downloaded one of my books – just simply fantastic”
Paul continues to say “The actual approach by Bookboon was very strange indeed, as this took place during the latter part of 2011 and just before I received an e-mail from them enquiring about the opportunity to write my 1st book my wife Kathy & I had just been on holiday in Europe. During our stay I had said that I would love to write a book at some point, but not really sure on what. When we arrived home there was an e-mail from Bookboon asking me about my thoughts and willingness to write about CVs. How unbelievable was that!!”
Paul’s books have had some very interesting spin offs, which have included securing work outside the UK, where CVs have been written by maximising Skype to talk to clients, building a face to face relationship and understanding their individual needs. In addition he also had the opportunity to write for our German Associate Company Access.
As you can imagine, Paul is over the moon with the success he has achieved and both Bookboon and Paul thought that this success story should be shared with all of our readers.
